Joshua Cooper Ramo is author of “The Age of the Unthinkable,” a new book providing hope for our culture’s looming revolutionary avalanche of ceaseless, unthinkable change. He provides a new model for thinking about – and thriving in – the world of the unpredictable. Ramo reminds us that great historical shifts create a whole new cast of historical champions, new fortunes and ideas that can endure for centuries. Drawing upon history, economics, complexity theory, psychology, human immunology and the science of networks, Ramo describes a landscape of inherent unpredictability and remarkable possibility.

Ramo has served as Foreign Editor for Time magazine, China analyst for NBC during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, in addition to roles at Kissinger Associates, the Sante Fe Institute’s group on Complexity and Social Affairs, the Aspen Institute, and is founder of the US-China Young Leaders Program. Joshua is trained as an economist with degrees from the University of Chicago and NYU. Learn more.
